We follow Stella, who is taking “cat” to the vet because she believes it doesn’t have long left to live. It turns out the cat is her boyfriend, Jørn Gunnar, who has decided to become a cat to avoid dealing with the outside world. The vet believes Stella has brought the cat in for a final examination before it is put down, while Stella is actually considering ending the relationship. Jørn-Gunnar identifies as a cat, so it feels appropriate that he sees a veterinarian for the pain caused by heartbreak.
